Error renaming

Post by TheThingIs »

On nearly all my downloads I get ERROR [postproc] renaming file

and it leaves the folder called [UNPACK]filename

I'm running 0.4.4 and not added any special postproc script, this is just std download and verify or down, verify and unpack

running on windows xp media centre

and it's been happening like this for a few months now...quite a few versions back

sometimes it works fine and I end up with a properly named folder but mostly it's left with UNPACK

any ideas on a fix as it's just annoying me now lol?

Could well be an anti-virus or some other program interfering and stopping sabnzbd from being able to rename the folder.

Do you have any programs that routinely scan your hard drive such as: anti-virus, google search, xbmc/mediaportal library updater ect..

I have nod32 v2 running on the box but it's always been on, even with earlier versions of sab that didnt have this prob

wmp11 is on there aswell scanning the box as I use it to stream to my xbox360. I'll stop it from scanning the dload folder and see if that's the culprit :)

When Windows has the slightest idea that another program accesses a file or folder,
it will block any attempt at renaming or deleting.
