Unpacking failed, an expected file was not unpacked

Hello.
This problem has only recently started happening.
I am running the latest version 0.7.9.
With "Check result of unpacking" within Switches checked I receive the error "Unpacking failed, an expected file was not unpacked", on all files that have recently downloaded.
Without this checked it gives no error but simply does not extract the .rar files.
With a Sick-Beard script in place when the above happens, all I receive is "Ran sabToSickBeard.py" with an empty script, i.e. it did nothing.
I have around 160GB left on the hard drive, although Windows reports this as slightly red in colour to show a warning of low space since it is a 2TB drive.
Does anyone have any idea what would be causing this?
I can't quite figure it out.
Any help is much appreciated.

Set logging to debug on SABnzbd's Status page and download another NZB.
Afterwards you can download the log file from same Status page
and open it with a text editor.
Going from bottom to top, you should be able to see error messages.
It's a bit of a puzzle, but doable.
With the little info you now give, there's not much I can do.

I did take a look at the log file but without debugging on and it just said it extracted zero files.
With debugging on it states "Missing expected file: Mr.Selfridge.S01E01.Episode.One.720p.WEB DL.AAC2.0.H.264 BS.mkv => unrar error?"

The above was with "Check result of unpacking" checked, since this has never caused a problem before.

Yes the file would be present once extracted.
I can extract them all manually fine using WinRar.

That was not the question.
Does SABnzbd itself correctly unpack the file(s) AND complain that it cannot find the same file(s)?

Strange, some unhandled error from unrar.
Can you do the download again and, after failure open a command prompt and type:

Not enough is logged to diagnose this.
Was this an incident or does it happen more frequently?
All I can do now is add some more logging in the next release.

So I am having the same problem. I formatted my computer, but imported the settings and now I keep getting this error.
When I open the folder after its downloaded, there is nothing there, although I am set to delete after extraction, but nothing extracts.

From what I see in the log, unrar doesn't do what it's supposed to do.
It could be a bug in unrar, but also in Windows.
Do SABnzbd flag the job as failed? It should because it does log that expected files are missing.

Yeah sabnzbd does mark it as an error and then has the red skull right next to it. What else can I do to help debug it?

I'm having the same issue with version 0.7.18 on Manjaro Linux. Everything will download correctly but SAB fails to extract it/mark it as successfully completed because it is looking for a filename which doesn't exist (which isn't there any way when I check later after it fails). If I manually extract the parts, the file is there with its expected name.
