SABNZBd causing Win 8 Pro to be laggy.

Well this is strange. On Win 7 I had no issues with lagginess. On Win 8 with just FF open and some normal background tasks SABNZBd is using 24.2 mb of memory and 0% Cpu usage. When I start it up that usage goes to 5-10% and system interrupts comes in at 13-18% FireFox's cpu usage also spikes to 5% and when idle its like 2.5%. System interrupts goes down to 0% when SABNZBd is idle.

Now this was an upgrade from Win 7. There are no network drivers for my motherboard for Win 8 so its using the ones that were installed for 7. I am going to wipe the drive and do a fresh install Win 8 and see if that makes a difference. This is really annoying. I tried to google the issue but nothing came up. I also searched the forum for "Windows 8" with the quotes to make sure I got both terms and didn't find much if anything about it.

I was just wondering if any one else was experiencing this issue?

I don't see the relation between the numbers and "laggyness".
Can you explain?
The CPU load seems OK to me.
Not sure what to make of the system interrupts.

The system interrupts was what was causing the laggyness. They were not present when sabnzbd was not running and when it was they showed upi Now I have jumped through a ton of hoops today trying to fix another issue. Went back to a win 7 image issue was still there. Went back to another win 7 image and it disappeared but when chrome was re installed it came back. It seems that I had a rouge extension causing issues with a site. When I removed that extension the issue went away. If I can remember what it was I am going to re install it and see if it correlates to this issue. Will keep you posted. I was curious is all not saying SAB was at fault.
