I've been using SABNZBD on Windows for several years and it has always worked flawlessly. I wrote my own program to use the API to add url's. This has been extremely convenient.
Last week, I rebuilt my server as a Ubuntu Server 12.x. Lots of googling helped me install MediaTomb and SABNZBD from the server's terminal. Latest versions of both.
SABNZBD is working great except for the ADDURL API. The url is added to the queue but all it ever says is "Trying to fetch..." Every time it tries, it adds a warning that says something like "Empty file downloaded". I can download the file in a browser and upload it to SABNZBD, but I'd much rather go back to using my own program.
The search site i'm using is nzbclub.com. I like it the best and i'm used to it. I've seen references to it in other posts but didn't find any answers regarding my issue. Like I said, it worked fine in the Windows version, but not on Ubuntu.
Any advice?
