NZB7 not pushing to SAB

Post by steve7677 »

Hi All,

just wondering where i should go to get some assistance.

I have setup SAB and its working well for my movies however i have also set up a VIP account at NZB7.com and they have detailed instructions on how to integrate with SABNZBD, I have followed them to the tee however the 'Send to sabnzdb' button next to the file in the web browser does not work. The site web tool flashes in th etop corner saying 'Added to Que', I refresh Sab, restart... still not in the que.

I have done the following...
1. Copy your "NZB Key" from your SAB installation, Config->General page.
2. Paste the "NZB Key" into the "SABnzbd Api Key" field on your Profile page here on NZB7.COM.
3. Enter the public (not localhost) ip/host of your SABnzbd installation in the "SABnzbd Url" field.
4. Choose "Nzb Api key" on the "Api Key Type"
5. Chose "Site" on the "Setting Storage"
Save the profile and push the SAB button to send items to you sab installation. Note: SAB integration requires API access - this is reserved for VIP users

Im out of ideas.

Any help would be appreciated,
Cheers
Steve

Well, it's because NZB7 is lying. Or at least not telling the whole story.

In their instruction they leave out "make your SAB setup accessible from Internet", which often involves Port Forwarding in your NAT-device (router).
