Port 8080 is used by default by VLC (www.videolan.org) webinterface.
This poses no problem, since the port in SABnzbd can easily be changed into something else.
Perhaps you should consider to change to another default port, anyhow.

Yes and a lot of other ports are used by other applications.
It's impossible to find a port that's generally free.
8080 is as good as any other port.
