Lost connection over LAN

Hi,
Yesterday SAB stopped working completely for me. I tried restarting the computer and reinstalling SAB to no effect. Eventually I deleted a preference file and a lock file in the preference folder and restarted the computer and SAB started working again. However even though it works fine on the local machine, I cannot gain access at all over the LAN. I enter the exact same IP address port combination as always. No settings have changed, and I have checked the firewall even though I have not changed anything there. My local IP address also is static. All iPad apps and iPhone apps etc have also stopped working. Couchpotato and Sickbeard work fine over LAN - it seems that I have only lost connection with SAB. This is a real problem as SAB runs on a server that I remote into. Can anyone suggest something that I should try. I have been running sab without issue for around 2 years. Thank you.

Find the sabnzbd.ini file and make sure the "host" field says 0.0.0.0

Thanks - could you give me a idea where this would be - can't seem to find it! What would edit this file - will text editor open it? Thanks again!

Depends on which OS you run it. Which is that?

host says 127.0.0.1

should i change this to 0.0.0.0 as i believe that 127.0.0.1 is local?

Yes, 127.0.0.1 means that only your local browser can access SABnzbd,
but no any other system in your network will have access.
You require 0.0.0.0 for access within your local network.

Thanks very much! I wonder how on earth it changed! I've been using SAB trouble free over LAN for a long time! Ah well - works now. Thank you.
