TV Sorting duplicating folders

Post by cjedj »

Hi there

Just discovered SAB today. Thanks for all the work that's gone into it, fantastic.

I have a couple of small issues:

I have an existing folder structure for episodes of TV shows I've already downloaded, e.g. .../TV Shows/SHOW/Season x.

When I use the TV Sorting folder option to place newly downloaded files into folders, instead of using the existing folder, it creates a new one, so I get .../TV Shows/SHOW.1/Season x etc. as well as the original .../TV Shows/SHOW/Season x

Am I doing something wrong, or is there some way to get the files moved to the existing folders instead of creating new ones?

By the way, this is on OS X 10.5

In config>folders what is your sort string set to?
In config>folders what is your Complete Folder?
In config>categories what is set up for the TV category under Folder/Path

In config>categories what is set up for the TV category under Folder/Path - TV (although I'd never looked at that page until now)
thanks for getting back to me - I've put the answers in the quote above.

EDIT: Scratch this. I've been playing around with it and it now seems to be working as expected. I've no idea what I've changed to get it right, but seems OK now. Sorry for the trouble...
