Something is wrong with my settings

Post by CoDeX2k »

Hi there,

I am a user of sabnzbd since serveral years and I totally love it. Use it on several qnap nas servers across the globe and it always works flawlessly... but since the last few weeks I ran into a problem... several tv shows could not been completly downloaded the last one I had this problem with was this here:
Trying SFV verification
Some files failed to verify against "anger.management.s02e33.720p.hdtv.x264-evolve.sfv"
anger.management.s02e33.720p.hdtv.x264-evolve.rar
what I know found out is that there is only the .par2 file downloaded not the complete par2 set... so it couldn't repair the .rar file. When I used the same .nzb sabnzbd already used before with the processing turned off to only download the par2 set completly, I was able to move all the par2 files into the folder 'manually par2 r' them against the .rar files and manuelly extract all the files...

Did I do something wrong with my switches?

here is a link to my .nzb file http://db.tt/tHoUZlf2

Thanks a lot for your help guys

Best

Essentially the post is incomplete and not repairable.
SABnzbd can fall back to SFV verification when no usable par2 files are found.
SFV files can only verify, not repair.

I am sorry... but thats not true. I downloaded the complete par2 set of this .nzb manually and put it in the incomplete folder of sabnzbd to the subfolder of the download. ran par2 r with the par2 files and it repaired the download flawlessly... Why does sabnzbd not download all the par2 files and repair the post?
