Mount External Drive

Hi All,
Sometimes for whatever reason my NAS drives wont be mounted when SABnzbd comes to unpacking a download.

Example: My Macbook Pro does the handwork, downloading and repairing a release and then unpacks to my NAS but if the drives are not mounted for some reason the unpacking will fail obviously. Anyone able to write or know of a simple script which can be run before unpacking to check and mount the drives that SABnzbd unpacks to if required please?

I guess OSX can automount external drives after booting the operating system, just like Linux and Windows. See http://osxdaily.com/2010/09/20/map-a-ne ... -on-a-mac/

Appreciate you taking the time to respond and posting that URL for my info..... but, my Mac Auto Mounts these drives at boot up anyway. Its just there have been several instances when the drives have been ejected after boot up, and its come to the point I need a work around.

My Macbook Pro is normally on 24/7 but due to hibernation or the NAS being rebooted, or finder crashing or I dont know, or recall half the instances they havent been mounted when SAB has come to unpack to the NAS, it would just be nice for a script to run to attempt to mount them when it hits this predicament.

again, thanks for responding.

See http://osxdaily.com/2013/05/13/mount-un ... -mac-os-x/

Put such a mount command in your crontab (or something more user friendly possibly available in OSX). Or put in a default script in SABnzbd, but I would say that's the wrong place.
