Unrar to Network Drive

I was unable to find an answer to this question, and while a quick test on my own would probably answer the question, here goes:

sabnzbd downloads to a local drive but it's setup to have extracted files land on a network drive. What happens if that drive is unavailable? Will sabnzbd leave the archives on the local disc?

Thanks,
Jeremy

Which os? If it's a mac it's gonna create the drive under /Volumes anyway. It will be stored on your local drive.

The previous answer is true for OSX and Linux.

On Windows unpacking will fail and the unprocessed files will remain in the download folder.
You will have to unpack them yourself.

I have a follow-up question regarding this.

I run OSX and I have sabnzbd+ and sabnzbdX that I run on boot.  I have a Time Capsule that automatically mounts when I'm at home.  I never download nzb's unless I am at home, so the drive will always be present when I'm downloading.

sabnzbd+ seems to automatically create a directory /Volumes/timecapsule at logon before I can mount the Time Capsule.  Upon mounting the drive, it takes a name /Volumes/timecapsule-1 and the files are put on the local drive instead of the network.  I have to delete the "timecapsule" folder, unmount the drive, and remount it to get it to work.

What is my best solution to fix this?

Thanks!

The volume needs to be mounted before SABnzbd starts.
It makes sure the required folders exist at startup (if necessary by creating them).
