Pause of Live Updates

So whenever my queue is large, and I have many things to edit such as adding categories etc., it becomes a nightmare because after every few seconds or so SAB will try to refresh to get the current thing.

So, say I have to edit 10 things. Approximately every single one I edit SAB's web interface pauses for about 3 to 5 seconds, and afterwards I can get to the next one etc. This is not efficient.

If it was possible to pause the live updatng of the interface, edit all the stuff that needs editing, and then allow it to resume it would be awesome.

I hope I explained the problem well.

I was using Firefox 3.

When I tried using the Safari as browser, it was instntly much snappier. Maybe its apparent when I'm runnig at or near RAM capacity. I think I maye have to do some more tests to see what exactly is at fault here.

But a live-update-pause before implementation would still be highly appreciated.

We're working on a better solution for release 0.5.0.
In the mean time, don't set the refresh rate so high (pick something like 30 sec).
It's not like you're going to watch your big queue grow smaller.

The good news is that 0.5.0 will show you a static page when you click a job title,
allowing you to change the options and the job name at your leisure.

Tnx for the reply, shypike.

I set it at about 3 minutes, but it still would give meĀ  weird pause after I tried to change something in a particualr job.
