Two Questions

I have two questions, firstly a few times I have needed to download some PAR files that SAB did not get for some reason, what I'd do is add the NZB and then delete all the files I didn't need (the rar files) leaving only the PAR files, however once the first PAR file downloaded SAB attempted to run it and thus the download failed. I then had to re add the NZB again and remove the files I didn't need. I repeated this process until all PAR files were downloaded, is this normal behaviour and can it be stopped from happening? Is it anything to do with running thr sickbeard script? Can I download all the PAR files in one go?
Secondly sometimes certain RAR files are damaged, but other usenet servers have the full healthy file. After disabling the bad news server and only enabling the one with healthy files I'll add the NZB to the queue and delete the unneeded RAR files from the download list, however after the first RAR file is downloaded SAB says the download failed, if I press retry and again delete the unneeded RAR files SAB will then download all the remaining RAR files without a problem. Is there anyway to avoid that first initial download fail?
