Do you experience problems during downloading?
Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings.
Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.
1. Pause Sabnzbd and reloaded the NZB file.
2. Compare the files in the NZB to the files that SAbnzbd has already downloaded.
3. I Found out I was missing r.100 and .r101.
4. Delete all files in the NZB except the files you want.
5. Unpause Sabnzbd to just download the missing files (once the download is done it will fail to unpack in your history, that's okay)
6. Move the files you just downloaded into the incomplete folder of the rest of the files (give the new rar files the same name as the rest of the rar files)
7. run unrar manually.
All of that above made sense to me, except this part:
8. I ran unrar manually but it still failed with "cannot find .s00"
9. Since my current files only went up to .r99 I concluded that the "s" files were anything over r99 and that s would start a-new at 00.
10. I renamed .r100 to .s00 and .r101 to .s01.
11. ran unrar and it extracted the file.
I guess I have 2 questions from this:
1. why didn't Sab download those 2 rar files initially? It stopped at .r99 and didn't get r.100 or r.101.
2. why did I have to rename them to s00, and s01? They are not named that in the NZB file.
Like I suspected, the poster made a mistake.
There are 101 rar segment files.
They are all named wrong in the NZB, but par2 is used to rename them.
However, the par2 file lists just the names .rar .r00, .r01 upto and including .r99
There is no mention of .s00 and .s01
Also:
Par2 says that the job is complete and that it verifies correctly, but UNRAR concludes that there are two files missing (or badly named).
SABnzbd cannot solve this dilemma.
I'll drop that job into the queue for overnight downloading, but I expect confirmation of my analysis.
I'll let you know.
