Deleting oldest folder from HDD

Post by TheCrach »

Hi Sabnzbd community

I've been using sab for about a month now and I would like to know if It would be possible to do this.

I have an RSS feed setup up so everything gets downloaded and sent to my external HDD in seperate folders, I'm looking for a way to delete the oldest folder/s when my HDD gets full so that sab can continue to store the files in an infinite loop. If anyone could tell me how to do this, Id appreciate it.

Hope I've not confused you guys, thanks again

You would need an external script for that, which isn't a trivial thing.
One thing SABnzbd can do for you is run the script at the end of each job
or when the queue becomes empty.

So should I create a new thread in the Post-Processing Scripts section and request for a script.

If there's an rss feed setup the queue will never become empty how would I work around this.

You can ask for help in that section.
Using a end-of-job script would be the best in your case.
