This is more of a tip than a request for help, but maybe there's a better way to do this that might come out from my posting this.

When I wanted a TV show that I didn't have an RSS filter, I would get the nzb from binsearch.net and then save it into the watch folder.

Some negatives about this are:
1. Sometimes the IE "save as" folder changed and I had to keep browsing to the watch folder (I know that you can set a method to have .nzbs "open" to the watch folder, but I couldn't quite get that to work.).
2. The name of the show wouldn't follow the standard TV show format I'd set up (and it wouldn't even make it into my TV folders if I didn't change the category while it was in the queue.
3. I had to do this from the machine that had SABNZBd running (or at least have my nzb folder shared on the network).

So, what I've done is set up an RSS filter for NZBs.org's "myfeed".  Then, after I've selected a few nzbs, I click the "Save Cart to MyNZBs" button.  I've got the filter to download * from this feed and made this as the TV category.
This results in:
1. The downloads following the TV Show naming I've set up.
2. The ability to populate the feed from wherever I have access to NZBs.org

Things to note:
1. You need to have an account set up at NZBs.org (it's free).
2. You'll need to make sure you set SABNZBd to not download duplicates from the feed.
3. If you were interested in grabbing more than just TV shows this way, I'd suggest setting up different feeds with appropriate filters (for example, in the TV show setup, reject things like "DVDRIP" and "WII" and "XBOX").

I could not get this to work

Can you post your exact settings. I get it to match but it wont download anything. I can force the download but not automatcically

Once you have a free nzbs.org account, go to this page:
http://www.nzbs.org/index.php?action=rss and you'll see a list of feeds.
Most feeds require you to add your "account string" at the end (it's shown at the top next to "Add this string to your feed URL to allow NZB downloads without logging in:").  You also have to add "&dl=1" (without quotes) at the end so that it'll automatically download the items.

However, the URL after "My NZBs Feed" on the same page has all of that information built into the URL.  So, you just need to use that url.

In SABNZBd, do you hve the check mark next to the feed checked (if you do this, the feed name you gave will turn from red to green)?  If not, this has to be done as well.

Just thought I'd share my set-up with the forum.  I'm new to SABnzbd+ and firstly must say it's a brilliant bit of software - so simply and saves so much time. 

Rather that accessing from the web and having to open ports, I've signed up for DropBox (***.getdropbox.com).  Once installed you can create a new folder (called say nzb) and then get SABnzbd+ to 'watch' this folder.  All you do then is upload nzbs through dropbox from anywhere in the world - provided it's not blocked at work and you're off.  See a better write-up here - h**p://blog.gesteves.com/post/84438959/start-bittorrent-downloads-remotely-with-dropbox for bit-torrent but principle is the same. 

At the moment, this set-up has the PC on all day.  Ideally I'd like to set-up SABnzbd+ to 'wake-up' using MS scheduler so that the PC turns on at a certain time and check the dropbox folder to start downloading.  Please let me know if anyone has this currently set-up.

In my opinion, the easiest way to get remotely have NZB's download is to bookmark them with Newzbin.

I do this from my phone all the time.  If someone is telling me I should check something out, I can whip out the browser, do a search, and just hit the book button right in the search results.  It's always there when I get home.

We are thinking of supporting remote drop boxes, although we don't which one(s) to support.
There are so many, each with their own method.

The second issue, you'll have to solve outside SABnzbd.
It is possible, because one of my Vista systems used to wake up in the middle of the night to download the montthly updates.

Getdropbox.com isn't going to be supported, since they lack a proper API (interface for programs).

However, they do provide their own utility http://wiki.getdropbox.com/DropboxAddon ... oxLinuxCLI.
You might use this yourself to periodically get file from the site and drop them into the Watched Folder.
