Had a crash and some files in the admin_dir failed to load

I'm fairly sure I know what happened but really just looking for a confirmation that the data is gone, not a big deal as the system recovered and is working fine.
I needed to restart the pc that runs sabnzbd and clicked on shutdown from the menu. A second or so later the system froze and I had to perform a soft reset.
I guess that on shutdown it flushes the various sab files into history1 and maybe the log file.
when sabnzbd restarted it appeared to be running fine but I got the following errors in the log file.
2014-09-16 18:47:27,921::ERROR::[__init__:962] Loading C:\Documents and Settings\augur\Local Settings\Application Data\sabnzbd\admin\bookmarks.sab failed
2014-09-16 18:47:28,030::ERROR::[__init__:962] Loading C:\Documents and Settings\augur\Local Settings\Application Data\sabnzbd\admin\rss_data.sab failed
2014-09-16 18:47:28,030::ERROR::[__init__:962] Loading C:\Documents and Settings\augur\Local Settings\Application Data\sabnzbd\admin\totals9.sab failed
2014-09-16 18:48:22,650::ERROR::[__init__:962] Loading C:\Documents and Settings\augur\Local Settings\Application Data\sabnzbd\admin\postproc1.sab failed
2014-09-16 18:48:22,664::ERROR::[__init__:962] Loading C:\Documents and Settings\augur\Local Settings\Application Data\sabnzbd\admin\queue9.sab failed
2014-09-16 18:48:22,664::ERROR::[__init__:962] Loading C:\Documents and Settings\augur\Local Settings\Application Data\sabnzbd\admin\watched_data.sab failed
I restarted sabnzbd from the menu and the errors disappeared but on checking the folder all 6 sab files appear to have been newly created with a file size of 1KB, so I guess I lost whatever they were holding.
Checking the log file I appear to be missing everything from the previous last time it restarted which was a scheduled restart that occured three days prior at 1600.
I have no idea what these files contain but I can make some educated guesses.
From the GUI I lost the total of what I had downloaded today which I guess was in totals9.sab
I performed a manual rss force download and got results I had already downloaded (they were marked as duplicate so easy to delete) so the detect duplicate downloads was unaffected.
