Apologies if this is in the wrong forum, but I know more control of server priority is due for V8. Is that still the case and if so, when is V8 due?
Also, with the new server support, will it be possible to see the number of completes and incomplete per server so we can see which are being utilised and successfully?
Thanks.
V8 & Server Priority
Re: V8 & Server Priority
Release time for 0.8.0 is unknown, I have severe time restrictions currently.
It will contain a tweak for server priority, the code has been contributed by someone,
but I haven't come around to actually merging it.
Per job the amount per server will be shown.
Take note that downloads will be distributed over all primary servers.
The fastest one will contribute most.

Re: V8 & Server Priority
Ok. So guess it's not imminent? Are we potentially talking weeks or months?
With regards to servers, with the wording of primary servers, am I right in thinking that it's still going to be based on primary and secondary rather than 'numbering' the priority of each server?

Re: V8 & Server Priority
No numbering yet, that would take a lot more redesign.
In the winter season I'll be able to spend more time, so a few months.
