Sab not switching to backup server(s)

Hi,

I currently use Astraweb with Newsdemon as my backup server. When downloading TV shows recently that I know are not available on Astraweb I figured SAB would switch to Newsdemon and download from there - it doesn't seem to do this ???

Instead the download seems to just sit there and looking in the logs I get the classic 'Article missing' error - <Article: article=part33of121.9U0OQqOwqdurd4Mp&L&[email protected], bytes=258342, partnum=33, art_id=SABnzbd_article_rpa8ch> missing

Eventually the download fails and it never switches to the backup server. If I disable my Astraweb servers, Sab downloads from Newsdemon just fine and the download completes.

Any ideas? This is very frustrating - i've in fact cancelled my Astraweb subscription but still want to use a US based provider as the main with another (probably netherlands) as a backup but if it's not going to work there is no point in paying for two providers.

Cheers

Alex

Can you email an example NZB file to [email protected]?
Please note that Astraweb is known to replace taken down posts with fake articles.

Can you also check this setting: "Fail on yenc crc Errors"? It should be "on".

Hi,

I have sent an example NZB to that e-mail address. Yeah I've not been very impressed with Astraweb to be honest so planning on using a combo of the following -

UsenetServer (main)
UsenetBucket (backup
Newsdeoon(backup)

Cheers

It should be on.
Your example NZB downloaded perfectly from Astraweb (except that it's encrypted).

Thanks - yes I saw your e-mail. I think I must have sent you the wrong NZB as the one I tried definitely was missing from there - i'll try another and re-send to you.
