folder query

Post by thefarmer »

Hi,
i've been doing some searches on the forum for the query I have, but I'm not sure if i'm missing something and being dumb here   :)

I have a whole bunch of categories setup (one per tv series), which works great...but everytime i download an episode sabnzbd always creates a subfoler (within the correct defined folder) and then places the .avi, .mkv file etc in it.
How can i stop it from creating a subfolder after download.

e.g I have a XXX category which is put to put all XXX episodes in y:\XXX.  What SABNZBD does is then create y:\xxx\XXX S09E01 xxxxx\xxxs09e01.avi.

I've tried different folder sorting options (and turned it off), but still always creates a subfolder.

I used to have sabnzbd to figure out the series name and let it put it in there itself..that worked for the majority of the time until an uploader perhaps calls the series something different i.e instead of 'The yyyyy', they have called it 'The Yyyyyy (US)'..and then another folder is created, so then i have 2 folders that need to be monitored for the same series.

Anyone help?

thnx
???

Try a preset that says "Season folder". These should keep every episode of a series inside a single folder with no subfolders.

We cannot control the naming of show names, try to get your nzb's from a single source that is consistent in their naming.
