Latest Beta VC90 issue

I have just tried to update to the latest beta but it shows me the following



so i say ok to download it but then get




cannot seem to figure it out

this is running on server 2012 R2 x64

any help would be appreciated

so just going to stick with the version I have

If you unpack the ZIP distribution file and run the SABnzbd.exe file in that,
you should get a Windows popup stating which DLLs are missing.
Can you try that and tell me what the popup says?

running the .exe from the .zip it loads fine no popup only when trying to install with the regular windows installer do i get that problem above

OK, that means that you already have the required Microsoft DLL files.
The detection mechanism in the installer fails.
Thanks for the update, I must do a bit more testing.

One issue is that almost all Windows versions have the DLLs out-of-the-box.
So testing it is tricky.
