Hi,

I found this morning that tvbinz.net seem to be down, is it just me or now it will be needing a login and password, from somewhere that I don't know about. I already miss that site.

Edit: tvbinz.net is not down, you need to register and you will find how in the thread. Unfortunately sabnzbd doesn't handle the URL with the cookie we now have to send to the rss feed to get it.

Looks like it might have been hacked.

Ive just switched over to http://www.nzbs.org

Anyways, it has been 'altered' since last night and assume it has been hacked unless it always has been the 'transvestite bisexual newz'.

Shame script kiddies have not got better things to do with their time.

I believe it has gone private, you need to signup on their irc channel (#tvnzb efnet).

I was talking about tvbinz.net, I made an error while typing the message... My daughter was asking me why some of the words I type become underline in red and the only one that was underline was actually the error I made, make this a double error.

Anyways. I doubt I can register to their site using irc channel of an other site. I want tvbinz since it's faster and more reliable than tvnbz. They don't seem to have a irc channel though at least not on efnet.

Edit: Okay I've been able to connect to efnet to the channel described above and then you ask for a +v (Voice) and then you will receive instruction on how to get a username.

Well i have got an account with tvbinz and can now log into the site as usual. Problem now is that sabnzbd+ is required to pass a cookie via the rss url to get the feed, but it doesnt seem like that that works?

You're right, sabnzbd doesn't like it ...

Here is what is written in the log
Failed to retrieve RSS from http://tvbinz.net/rss_new.php?nodupes=1 ... xxx;uid=xx

This was posted on our irc; may work, haven't tried it.

I tried it and it's working! But on their irc channel they said it was a temporary fix so better get the cookie working in case that this astually a temp fix and not a perm fix.

Requiring a cookie is sort of ridiculous and unnecessary. Just requiring a UID and hash is more than enough security.

Hi,
How did you connect to the IRC channel? I get a message that I need the correct key to join the #tvbinz channel.  The #tvnzb channel doesn't seem to be the right one, or am I wrong?

#tvnzb is the right channel.

Im having the same problem as EnnZeeBee. I got into the channel yesterday without trouble (didnt require a key), but now when I try to enter the channel I get an error asking for the correct key.
