1.0.0RC1 creating a volume folder before it mounts

Howdy!
I'm not certain when this started happening (at least beta 6), but here are the details:
Environment:
OS X 10.11.3 running 1.0.0RC1.
I've got an external drive (Media HD) that is the root drive of the folders that SAB saves to. The issue is that when I restart my computer, SAB (running at login) attempts to "create" Media HD under /Volumes before the HD has a chance to mount, thus blocking the HD from mounting at all.
At least this is what I think is happening. I can verify because if I unplug the hard drive and restart the Mac, then the /Volumes/Media HD folder is created (with the HD unplugged!) when I run SAB.
Right now the obvious workaround is to remove SAB from login items, restart the computer, plug in the HD, make sure it mounts, then start SAB. Not terrible but it took me awhile to figure out why my HD wasn't mounting!
