Any way to perform checking function in background?

Hello,

I have the option ticked to pre-check before downloading.
If I have a big queue, the program will check the first one, download, pause next download, extract, check, then proceed with the next download.
The problem is, that next download then goes through the checking process. On my mid range system, for a large NZB this can take from 5 to 15 minutes.
Is there any way to ensure, that the ONLY time sab isn't downloading at full speed, is during extraction?
I'd be happy for the checking process for all files, to run in the background (sequentially) at a much lower priority, even if it does introduce some small disk thrashing.

Way too complex for a limited gain.
We recommend to use the "abort if download cannot be completed" instead.
The check doesn't even guarantee completion as some Usenet providers
replace the missing articles with takedown messages.
