Drop Connections

I am using SAbnzbd 1.2.1 [d32cf57] on QNAP and my configuration is two differetn servers one is Newshosting and the other one is Tweaknews.
When the server is started for the first time and the queue is created the first servers opens 30 connections like is it supposed to and the other one 40 connections. After a while Tweaknews for nor reason drops all 40 conenctions and stays there. No error message nothing. I have priority 0 for both servers, I have set high redention time for both servers, which by the way I have treid to set it to 0 with no difference and the timout for both servers is 120.

Any thought?

In addition to my previous post, I have found out that sometimes in sttaus I get the following.
Local IPv4 addressConnection failed!
Public IPv4 addressConnection failed!
IPv6 address
Nameserver / DNS LookupConnection failed!
Used cache0 B (0 articles)
System Performance (Pystone)
Download folder speedLoading...
Complete folder speedLoading...

I do not know if this is related with my previous problem

I would start by lowering the number of connections to 5 resp 5, and then try again.

When only 5 connections per server ae stable. But my bandwidth is never filled. In any case the connections that I have previously assigned are the one that are set by my providers and I not see any error about dropping conenctions.

Good!
But my bandwidth is never filled.
You can check if you can set your number of connections a bit higher, but the I suspect your QNAP can't handle too much load

I don't understand what you're saying here.

Sander. I did not have any problem when I was at the developer branch. The think is that the connecions are conncted at first for some time. Afterwards, they are dropped.

What I am saying is that the number of connections are set as my usenet providers are allowed me. I am allowed 30 simultaeous connections for newshosting and 40 for tweaknews.

In addition, when I go to settings and go to servers settings and re saved the configuration the dropped connections are connected again

Yes, but if your QNAP can't handle that load, you can't do it, can you?

If you're allowed to drive 200 km/h, but you have a low-spec car (Volkwagen Up), you just can't do that.

If you want, you can run SABnzbd on your PC/Mac. You can then set the number of connections to the max.

I can understand what you are saying..but why the connections stay alive for over 10 minutes. Why I do not get any error message?

I looked further in the problem. The drop connections are not related with the number of connections. Whatever I do the second server never stays connected.
I can see that while it is connected the number of connections varies all the time until it goes to 0.

Is there anything in the log? You can search for the server-name.
After setting the Logging to +Debug.

The only message that I can see in the log file related to the server is

Thread [email protected]: Article 009abf49$0$6703$[email protected] missing (error=430) error 430.
I cannot find anything about the drop connections

With sabnzbd 1.2.1?
And what does your log say? Can you find the part where it stalls and post it here (in code tags).
What does your Status window show? Also errors?
