Cant access remotely

Im not exactly sure when this started but I am running the latest beta (2.2.0B1) currently. This has been going on for a while tho and I guess I didnt realize it until recently.

I can no longer access the Sabnzbd interface remotely. I have 8080 forwarded on my router and I have the Windows firewall turned off on my host machine. I have a DynDNS hostname that I use to for my indexing sites so I dont have to update all my sites weekly as my ISP seems to rotate my IP constantly. Hitting that doesnt bring up the interface and I have verified that the hostname is pointing to the right IP.

The host machine is a Windows 10 virtual machine running on my QNAP NAS. Ive been running this setup for about a year and was able to access the interface remotely up until maybe the last couple of months.

Has anything changed in the software I should have adjusted to allow remote web access?

Can you access SABnzbd from devices (PC, phone) on your LAN?

There is a setting "External internet access" (http://127.0.0.1:8080/config/general/#inet_exposure ), but I'm not sure of it's influence.

More probably it's a port not open / not correctly opened. That's outside the control of SABnzbd.

You can go to http://canyouseeme.org/, fill out 8080, and scan your connection.

Or you can PM me your IP address, and I'll run a nmap scan for you.

If External internet access was blocking it, you would get a message "Access denied".
Do you get that, or just connection refused?

I get connection refused but the port is open and forwarded.

Success: I can see your service on xx.xx.xx.xx on port (8080)
Your ISP is not blocking port 8080

No.. I dont get the interface. I get a browser error.

As there is nothing changed in terms of connectivity for a long time in sabnzbd versions, it seems to be some problem in your setup that's blocking the connection. Not sure what we can do.. Will have to check your forwarding settings.

Nothing has changed on my side either other than updating SAB and updating my firewall firmware. Kind of at a loss as to why I cant access externally especially with the port open.
