Help configuring remotely

Post by thedude22 »

I have just installed sabnzbd on a server I'm setting up running Freebsd 11. I don't have a browser or desktop environment installed so I thought it would be easy to configure everything from my laptop but the webserver page will not load.

I have my server on a static IP 192.168.1.198. I tried going to http://192.168.1.198:8080 on my laptop and I get page not found. I can ping my computer fine.

I tried setting inet_exposure = 4 and clearing local_ranges in sabnzbd.ini
restarted the service but still nothing

Any help please?

Did you fill out 0.0.0.0 as Host in sabnzbd?

This worked. Thank you. I thought it should stay set to localhost.

I guess I don't understand what this setting does, or what ip 0.0.0.0 means.

It's on our wiki: https://sabnzbd.org/wiki/configuration/2.3/general
It will listen to external connections.
