Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.

Use extracted folder name instead of job name
Is there a way to have Sabnzbd use the extracted folder name instead of the nzb job name as the top-level folder name within my downloads directory?

What do you mean with Extracted folder name? The folder that was inside the RAR? Or are you using Sorting?
