Hi,

I don't know if this is the right place to ask about the new SynoCommunity version of SABnzbd (2.3.3).

All works well, but I wonder how I can start and stop SABnzbd via SSH on the Synology DiskStation. (I have a DiskStation that performs rather poorly, so I'm in the habit of regularly killing processes I don't need at that moment).

I used to give the following command:

Code: Select all

/var/packages/sabnzbd/scripts/start-stop-status stop
to stop SABnzbd, but this no longer seems to work.

I get the message "/var/packages/sabnzbd/scripts/service-setup: line 6: [: : integer expression expected
is not running"

However, if I stop SABnzbd from the DSM GUI (Package Center), this works okay. I'd like to know what the command behind the scene is. Can anyone tell me?

Cheers!

You cannot. You need to use the Synology command:
synopkg

Has to do with the new SynoCommunity framework.
