My SABnzbd has been working perfectly for months.

I use DynDNS, and have the settings all configured properly, and like I said, it's been working this way for months.

All of a sudden, today it doesn't work.  If I click on my bookmark to take me to the web interface, it doesn't work, Safari says page can't be displayed.

I tried accessing it from my iPhone, outwith my own network, which usually works, same problem.

I went to DynDNS web site, and my router's settings page, and both say my DynDNS account/settings are fine.

I use other apps (RemoteTap on iPhone for example) that utilise my DynDNS address, and they are working fine.

Also SABnzb itself is still working in the sense that it's still downloading stuff, I just can't access the web interface.

I've tried restarting it, and if by locally you mean using "0.0.0.0" or "localhost" in the address bar, yes I've tried both of those, and neither work.

I  just tried AppZapping SABnzbd and SABnzbdX, then reinstalling them, and it seemed to work (I could log on to the web interface using my DynDNS-addressed bookmark).  However when I tried to open it a second time, it's not working again!!!

http://:8080/sabnzbd is the address in my browser to access the web interface.  Like I said, it's worked for months.

Assuming your system(s) are behind a router.
Does SABnzbd respond when you try to access it from another system in your home network?
If you have only one system, can you access it from the same system using the
internal network address (usually something like 192.168.1.2).

Still assuming you have a router, is the port redirectuion still OK.

Did you check your software firewall? It should allow incoming traffic on port 8080 for the Internet.
Did your firewall get an update?

i to am having the exact same issue.
as of today Saturday july 11th 2009, i can no longer see my web interface.

i click on the bookmark link, and it shows me the login fields.
enter my details,
and nothing happens.
still on the login page.

(and yes i *AM* typing my login info correctly.)

everything was working perfectly 12 hours ago.



oh and this is within my private home network;
ie: 192.168.1.100 (windows box) ---> 192.168.1.108 (ubuntu linux box with sabnzb installed)

also, my wTorrent webinterface and webmin interfaces are working fine too... its only sabnzbd

Check your machines date and time. It is probaly wrong, causing the cookie t not working after logging in.

I app-zapped SABnzbd+ and SABnzbX again, then reinstalled SABnzbd, and it seems to work again (i.e. I can access the web interface).

Also myNZB on my iPhone seems to be connecting again (it wasn't working yesterday either).

I tried reinstalling SABnzbX and it's STILL not working, although even with it installed SABnzb's web interface is still accessible.

Bear in mind this all worked PERFECTLY for months, and I changed nothing at all yesterday, it just stopped working.

Also bear in mind with SABnzb loaded it has always worked, even yesterday, in terms of actually DOWNLOADING stuff, I just couldn't access the web interface.

the exact problem here.
anyone the right answer?

Find your settings.ini, change the host to 0.0.0.0 and restart sabnzbd/your machine

or look for sabnzbd.ini

For some reason my SABnzbdX no longer had a colon then the port number in the host:port field.

I had:



when I should have had:

:8080

Not working again, even with SABnzbX uninstalled.

All settings OK, and sabznbd+ IS downloading, I just can't access the web interface!

Arggghhhh!
