Without any scripts, I'll end up with obfuscated folder name but correct file name (ie video file). With deobfuscatepy, instead of making it better, it actually made it worse. It renames the file name (which is already correct) from the deobfuscated/incorrect folder name. Now I have deobfuscated folder name AND file name.
Is there any script or setting that renames the folder name appropriately? Even if it just copies from the file name - that's good enough.

Config > Sorting
Enable sorting for the right categories.
Set Sorting-string to:
%dn\%dn.%ext

I used a combination of
%fn/%fn.%ext
Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. I honestly don't know what's wrong with it. Sometimes it would just create a folder named "%fn"

That might depend on the type of sorting used possibly. You do use the latest SABnzbd (2.3.4) right?

Can you enable debug logging in the Status and Inteface settings window and when it happens again send me the log at [email protected]?
It should do some sort of renaming.
As a sidenote: better tools for this to manage videos are Sonarr/Radarr.
