Sorting Non-TV Files

Post by Wasgo »

Hi there,

I just got the TV sorting all figured out yesterday, and I'm absolutely loving it. I saw on http://sabnzbd.wikidot.com/folder-sorting that there is other folder sorting, but I can't seem to find any of those options. Do those options exist (and I'm somehow missing them), or if not, can anyone recommend any good sorting options on Mac for movies and comics?

Taken from said page

SABnzbd has the ability to do some clever folder sorting on files based on the name of the nzb. Currently this is only extended to nzb files that are part of a series such as TV shows.

i would love to see the functionality that you are talking about added.    but so many people will do it so many different ways    TV shows is more or less always done in the same logical way

you could try using the category sorting options

0.5 will contain more sorting options, mainly a sort for date named files, and a general purpose sort with support for years decades and multiple CD naming. But for now, you will have to look around the post processing forum for any good sorting scripts.

I do not understand your question, are you talking about non avi files such as .nfo files that are included with most releases? These should be renamed already.

The question is about sorting for other types of files, such as other types of video files.
