Hi,
I have tried to get the latest version of SABnzbd on my Imac but nothing works.
I can download the programm but when I try to open it I get a small screen :
On the left there is a READ ME-file, in the middle is the SABnzbd sign, more to the right is an arrow pointing to the right and on the right is a blue folder with APPLICATIONS.
When I doubleclick or click on the SABnzbd sign NOTHING happens???
What am I'm doing wrong??
Eric

I tried but didn't work.acecujo wrote: ↑August 19th, 2019, 1:13 pm Did you try to browse to the port?
Open your browser and go to

Re: sabnzb on Imac
You have to drag the SABnzbd icon to the right, to the Applications folder.
Then it will be installed, and you can start it from your Applications folder.

Congratulations, you have downloaded the installation package, which is a disk image for Macs, and by double clicking it you have mounted the disk image. Finder opened a window to the disk image for you, showing you the two or three files in it. Good job so far!mestreech11 wrote: ↑August 19th, 2019, 9:52 am ...

Now that you've downloaded and mounted it, your next step is installing it rather than trying to run it like you did by double clicking. To install it, you follow the administrators advice in the post before mine, i.e. drag the SAB and drop it on the Applications folder. That's how you install things on an iMac. Drag the app to your applications folder. Okay. After it's copied to your App folder, you don't need the disk image mounted anymore. Unmount it in Finder. Ask if you don't know how. After it's unmounted you can delete the installer disk image you downloaded which probably was put in the Downloads folder by Safari. The unmounting and deleting aren't critical, but they clean things up.When I doubleclick or click on the SABnzbd sign NOTHING happens???

So those instructions get it installed, and the installer unmounted, and left over stuff deleted.
Now you can run SAB by clicking on it in Launchpad. You might get a pop up window asking if you're sure you want to run a program downloaded from the Internet. Pretty much everyone here trusts it enough to run it. Let us know how it works.

In Finder the left hand column has a few sections: Favorites, Devices, Shared, Tags
At least that's how it is on my Finder. So when you mount something, it appears under "Devices",
usually with a title like SABnzbd. Just to the right of it's name will be an eject icon
⏏
I tried to type it above. It looks like a triangle pointing upward with a line under the triangle.
Click that and it SABnzbd should dismount. You know it happened if its name vanishes from finder Devices.
