Undeletable downloads (and other issues)

Post by Macamba »

Preabmble:
Version: 0.4.11
OS: Windows XP SP2
Install-type: Windows Installer
Skin (if applicable): Default
Firewall Software: XP SP2 Firewall
Are you using IPV6? no
Is the issue reproducible? no (probably)

Hi,

Last Sunday I got invested by a lot of crap ware (Trojans and virussus). As a result I had to set back an image I made earlier from a clean install. It contained an old SAB version (0.4.8 if memory serves). I noticed a list of doubles in my download queue. But I can't seem to remove them. I installed the latest version (hence the Version: 0.4.11), and changed the order. At the moment SABnzbd is downloading another file, but still I can not remove the old file.

Is there a way to kill this file? Shutdown SABnzbd, and start it up with a certain kind of switch?

Thanks for  your reply. In the end I deleted the complete directory with download files. After that I could delete the download from the SABnzbd list.

On your suggestion to add it to my shortcut launcher, would that be a
"C:\Program Files\SABnzbd\SABnzbd.exe --clean"
as target of the link in my start menu, or a
"C:\Program Files\SABnzbd\SABnzbd.exe" --clean
Notice the location of the "
