Newbie - Sabnzbd Will not shutdown

Post by melmac »

Sabnzbd will not shutdown,  I press shutdown and a message pops up asking if I'm sure I want to shutdown I say yes it then just hangs, at the bottom of IE it says 'waiting for http://localhost:8080/sabnzbd/shutdown? ... 9bac426ecf......

I initialized the shutdown because the file being downloaded seemed to be stuck after the following error warning
WARNING [downloader] Thread [email protected]:563: timed out

I don't like to kill sabnzbd so instead I restarted the computer

I go back in the file starts to download and then timesout and then I can't shutdown.

I'm a relative newbie to all this but had been going along fine with everything working beautifully for the last month until this and I'm not sure how to troubleshoot what the issue is. I turned of windows firewall and my avast but it didn't make a difference
I'm running on Vista32
I got a bit frustrated so I uninstalled sabnzd and reinstalled but then the same problem happened

Any help appreciated
Thanks
Mel

Signup for the Release test program in the Beta board.
That way you will have access to 0.5.0 Alpha's, that are better at handling stuck connections.
