articles had non-matching duplicates

Hi,

when I download my own created NZBs with sabnzbd, I often (not always) get the following error message:

[numbers] articles had non-matching duplicates
Aborted, cannot be completed.

What is the result of this error?
How can I prevent it?
What am I doing wrong?

This means that that within 1 file, there were multiple parts that had the same number but a different article-ID.
If you enable Debug logging in the Status window and then upload the NZB, it should show in the logging which articles are duplicates.

Each part number has to be unique, there can't be 2 articles both be listed as part 1. Because how would we know which article is the correct one to start the file with? So we discard the second article with the same part number if it's found.

How can I prevent this error from occurring?
Is this a posting tool (nyuu) error when uploading or creating the NZB?

No, nyuu is a good tool.

Question: what are you posting? Useful content for others, or a backup of your files / disk?

Okay, but why do I only have this error when I use nyuu?

Both. But shouldn't that make a difference?

Usenet is not your personal backup but meant to provide some use for others and to share information/files.
As such we don't want to help anyone who abuses usenet as personal backup.

Then we got it wrong. You should see from the link that these are not personal backups.

I would be happy if you could help me with the solution.

I think: Either the articles are uploaded incorrectly / twice or the NZB is created incorrectly.

In this case the problem is just inside the NZB, not during the downloading.
