Using version 3.1.1 [99b5a00]
on MacOs version 11.0.1 (20B29)
Hello,
I'm having a problem with the pause/resume functions in SABnzbd latest version.
When I press Pause for xx minutes, the downloads won't resume at the end of the countdown. It goes into minus something showing how it passed the deadline. Strange thing is that, for instance, I pressed 5 minutes, and at the end of the 5 minutes it goes at -2:00:00 and increments the countdown from there.
Yesterday evening, I put it on pause for 3 hours, and not only did it not start at the end of the 3 hours, it also missed the schedule that said "Resume at 1:30am".
Thanks for your help.
Here is the log for a 5 minutes pause:
2020-11-19 10:06:04,178::INFO::[downloader:297] Pausing
No message for the resume.
And it currently shows -3:16:42...

Did you maybe also setup a scheduled pause/resume?

Nope... good point but I did not. Here is my scheduling:
01:29 Daily Resume
01:30 Daily Speedlimit 500M
10:00 Daily Speedlimit 150K
I really don't get what's happening. Is it because of Big Sur?
Also, I noticed that if I resume it won't slow down to 150K unless I restart. And the fact that the countdown is so off makes me think that it could have problems reading the time? But then the log time should be off as well which it's not...

Oh well, sorry. Apparently there was recurring connection error that prevented the resume and appeared only occasionally in the log...
(showed in "Status and interface options"/"Connections")
Failed to connect: (60, '[Errno 9] Bad file descriptor')
[email protected]:563
I restarted once, froze, then a second time and it now seems to work alright.

Good to know!
Usually it's Windows users we have to tell to restart PC a couple of times after an update of Windows

What do you mean No message for the CV, I didn't understand?

Interestingly I'm suffering the same behaviour, in regards to being unable to resume paused downloads. I'm running 3.1.1 of SAB on macOS 10.13.8
I do not use schedules at all as I allow Sonarr/Radarr/Lidarr to control as and when it requests a download.
Has any progress been made in resolving this issue?

I think your issue is different?
Is the queue paused, or the seperate downloads?
Have you tried enabling Debug mode in the Status and Interface settings window, then after it happens again click Show Logging in the same window. What does it show?
