Hello,
I am using Sab 3.1.1 on a QNAP system,
Whenever Sab processes a file during the verification process I always receive an error renaming the sample file. Below is a sample.

I have turned on +Debug and have the log file. I'm not sure where the problem is.

Please excuse me as I'm new to this app.

I'm trying to paste info from the error here, but keep getting this error when trying to post "New users are not allowed to post links"

Downloads/incomplete/Whose.Line.Is.It.Anyway.US.S17E02.1080p.WEB.h264-KOGi.2/Sample+whose.line.is.it.anyway.us.s17e02.1080p.web.h264-kogi.sample.mkv cannot be renamed to Downloads/incomplete/Whose.Line.Is.It.Anyway.US.S17E02.1080p.WEB.h264KOGi.2/Sample/whose.line.is.it.anyway.us.s17e02.1080p.web.h264-kogi.sample.mkv

I've added the error message posted on the QNAP forum to your post.

This is a problem in par2, which can't handle folders.
Do you maybe have Deobfuscate Final Filenames turned on?

Thank you @ safihre - I do not have Deobfuscate Final Filenames enabled,

I wished I could post another example , but the post keeps getting rejected "New users are not allowed to post links"

Sab always seems to falter around renaming "Sample+" file name to "Sample" folder

I tired enabling "Ignore Samples" which didn't fix the problem.

Unfortunately this seems to happen on about 75% of the downloads.

Can you post the NZB on pastebin or hastebin, and share that URL (post here, or via DM)?

Probably the poster you are downloading from, uses Windows, where you can use Multipar. That one does support folders.

No, the two forums are not linked. But because the problem you've asked relates to SABnzbd, you're more likely to get a response here than the QNAP forum.

This illustrates the problem. These all have the same rename problem.

Thanks. No problem with the first NZB, but indeed a problem with the second NZB ... but mainly because of missing files.

But you showed a picture with 5-10 more problematic NZBs. Can you send them too?
