I would like to grap similar or duplicate items from my RSS feed.
To be able to do this I have set the following

Detect Duplicate Downloads set to OFF
Detect duplicate episodes in series set to OFF
History is empty,
Nzb download folder is empty
removed rss_data.sab
Rss downloaded list has been cleared

After all of that SABnzbd will not grab duplicate or similarly named items from RSS feed.
What am I missing?

After you remove the RSS data file, the first time you read the feed it won't auto download the first read of the RSS feed. You'll have to click Force download.

The "matched" list does not show any items that are grabbed before.

Then they are not actually in the RSS xml.. Because the matched list shows everything that we get from the server.
Are you maybe using a Cart RSS feed of an indexer? Because those remove the item from the feed once you grab it.

I am using a Cart RSS and I am aware that when an item has been grabbed then it will be removed from the cart list.
Have observed this in action while grabbing a item.
But when I would like to grab the same item or one that is similar in name, SABnzbd does it show it in the "matched" list.

When I use the endpoint URL, I do get an XML array and objects which does seem to function with SABnzbd AS LONG the name of the object does not match previously grabbed items.
I have created a copy of the RSS XML, it included 4 items with similar names and it is an item that has been grabbed once using RSS.
Also copy of SABnzbd Log.
(API has been edited for security reasons)

Just to be sure, did you manually change the API key in the logs? The r= bit?

Can you verify again that the XML is actually filled? Because from the logging it really seems like there was just no data in the feed.
Otherwise there would be logging like:
Ignoring job %s from other feed
Trying title

Sure, I checked several time, I could create another example if you like.
The log and XML sample that I already provided were created at the same time, in the following order:

Added items in my RSS cart
Waited approx 5 minutes
Pressed read feed in SABnzbd, got no results, matched list is empty
Used the Url in my internet browser and copied it
Looked up SABnzbd log and copied it
And finally provided those copies in the post.

Those items in my RSS cart stayed there for more then 4 days, so more then enough time to sync :-)

Any news to this? I can confirm SAB somehow detects duplicates from RSS and will not add then to download from cart. Duplicate detection is OFF and there is history is empty. There must be a RSS history somewhere. Good its there would just be helpful to see and edit.

Update to 4.2.0, the duplicate detection has been changed significantly.

Thanks sadly latest Synology version is 4.1.

OK I am on 4.2.1 now and same, there seems to be a hidden list of RSS downloaded files. Where is that list, how can I configure it, if I want duplicates or not and how can I edit it?
