are you using ipv6? no, but i'd like to be
is the issue reproducible? yes

alright. here's the jist:

i have two internal drives. the second drive is much larger and inside i have a folder 'incomplete' for in progress items and 'complete' for finished ones. well, it seems music and movies still go there, but, tv shows are being tossed at the root level of the boot drive. i've searched and searched for answers, but seem to come up blank. any ideas?

Do you use categories, ie the preset TV one? If so what do you have set up as the path in config>categories

ok, it reads across left to right as so…

tv > default > default > tv/main > tv

and this is also the way i have it set up for movies and music (respectively). music and movies go to their homes automatically.

so—yes, tv is the preset one.

is it ok to reply to my own topic?

ok, i've still not been able to get to the bottom of this. but, now, to make things more fun, i've got a nas i'd love for them to land up on. problem is, they still keep heading for my root internal drive.

ideas?

What did you set as "Complete Download Folder" folder in Config->Folders?
This is the base folder any category folder is based on.
What does it say in Config->Categories after "Relative folders are based on"?
The alternative is t specify a full path for every category.
