Hello,
I currently run a Synology NAS 920+. It seems like when I am getting content, especially during the post processing (during heavy usage) that Plex seems to stutter. It may be disk usage or CPU usage but I need to look into that a bit more and have set up some logging. It seems like checking "Pause Downloading During Post-Processing" resolves the issue for me, especially during heavy usage. From what I have looked into these are my options:
- Setup a schedule
- Check "Pause Downloading During Post-Processing" which works for me
- Nice and IONice Parameters
I am curious is anyone has had any luck with the Nice and IONice Parameters? I have tested this with different parameters but the issue still seems to persist.
Also if anyone has any other tricks or tips I am all ears.

Re: Plex Stuttering during post processing sabnzbd
Just writing to tell I have the same problem with my setup: A NUC with a 4-core Celeron, with content on a USB disk. When I use VLC to play content ... VLC starts stuttering when SAB is working hard. And I don't know either what's the bottleneck: the CPU or the disk.
My idea is this: halt all SAB activity when VLC is active. I now do that manually, but I would like to automate that: by looking at VLC cpu usage or disk usage in general.
