Spend some time trying to get this thing to work.

foechoer at tvnzb forums has made this http://www.foechoer.be/tvnzbreader/ wich should work. Haven't tried it yet.

My post from that forum:
wernerbuck made a post about rss via yahoo pipes. I took the liberty to fiddle with his pipe and have made this one http://pipes.yahoo.com/jackiass/tvnzb

All you have to do is add the rss feed to SABnzbd+:
http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/pipe.run?_ ... render=rss

and add an asterix as filter (the *)

It should find new episodes that's:
not high definition
not nuked
not an episode

and then rename them correctly after download

Feel free to sign up at yahoo and edit the pipe to manage the shows of your choice. Real easy  :)

Great work:

I made an alternate version of your pipe. Configure it here http://pipes.yahoo.com/underpirate/tvnzb_show_select by entering a show name to filter.
Resulting rss feed will look lite this: http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/pipe.run?_ ... ource=PDTV

Replacing

Code: Select all

show.name
etc. with what you want and the feed is done!

Figured this thread deserves a bump, the rss feed generator at foecher.be is really slick.  That code should be part of tvnzb itself.  I consolidated up a bunch of my old rss feeds into his by manually adding the show ids, leave it on accept all, too easy--no filters necessary.

Yahoo pipes is probably the more graceful approach but I DL everything--HD, SD, whatever comes out, then just delete what I don't watch.

I have followed the progress of http://mytvnzb.foechoer.be/ and this really seems great!

Anyway, I'm sticking to my own pipe - for some reason I'm a control freak, and I like to do some hands on filtering :)
