Can't Specify Download Location [ Snap, Ubuntu ]

I have a lot of experience using the various versions of Windows, and have flirted with Ubuntu several times. About 2 years ago, I took the plunge and switched most of my systems to Ubuntu, but most of my experience is in using the graphical interface. I set up a new dual boot windows/ubuntu 24.04 machine a while back, and I'm having trouble with using sabnzbd on it. I have a long history of using sabnzbd in both windows and ubuntu without ever encountering this problem. I installed version 4.3 on Ubuntu, set it up for my usenet server, but I cannot for the life of me set the download path anywhere but under /var/snap/sabnzbd. I'd prefer it to either be in /home/Downloads/Complete (and another for Incomplete) but it insists that my default base path is /var/snap/sabnzbd, and I cannot figure out how to change it. I've compared it with an older verision I have running on an Ubuntu 22.04 machine, and it's default base path is /home/Downloads. I could live with having to go into the /var/snap/sabnzbd folders for my downloads, I suppose, but it isn't handy, and it won't let me move the downloads or even delete them if they download there. I suppose it's because it's outside of the /home file tree. Does anyone know of a fix?
