Hi guys,

One feature I think would be worthwhile is to sort the files within the download by size. So things like small par2 files and sfv, nfo's get done first. After this for example the rars could be done in order so that a file might be played incomplete still.

As soon as the first par2 files is complete all the other go to the end of the queue.
Other than that we don't do any size-based sorting.
RAR's are downloaded in the correct order.

Cool thanks shypike. So does this mean sabnzbd doesn't actually need to the small par2 file to know which large par repair files are available? The nfo isn't a big deal so i guess this request is useless. Thanks for getting back to me.

It downloads the smallest VOL file.
It would be even more efficient to read the par2 (non VOL) file.
It's a design choice by the original designer and we have not taken the
trouble to change it.
