sabnzbd 0.4.12 + linux (fedora 12) == 100% CPU usage
fresh install of SABnzbd-0.4.12. I goto config, general, change NOTHING, click on "save changes"...and browser just say waiting......forever, webpage never redraws and CPU usage goes to 100%.....BUT I can click on a tab like queue or config, and it WILL work, but CPU usage stays at 100%. I deleted the ~/.sabnzbd directory, reinstalled sab, same problem.

Officially we do not support Python 2.6.
Some people have reported succes, but most haven't.

Re: sabnzbd 0.4.12 + linux (fedora 12) == 100% CPU usage
I'm having similar issues with Fedora 12 i386 (686 kernel).
Python: 2.6.4
python-cheetah-2.2.2-2.fc12.i686
I formerly had SAB working with Fedora 10, python 2.4, cheetah 2.0.1 but a heat issue killed a drive and my file system got corrupted. I even had backups of most of the .rpms required to rebuild the original setup, but I did not have the old python and the other dependency for cheetah 2.0.1 backed-up. Thus when rebuilding my NAS I was hopeful with cheetah 2.2/Python 2.6, but no such luck.

How so? SAB 0.4.12 added cheetah 2.2 support for linux, and one of the dependencies for cheetah 2.2 was Python 2.6.shypike wrote: Officially we do not support Python 2.6.

If you want Python 2.6 support, use SABnzbd0.5.0 Beta1 instead.
There are more modules in 0.4.12 that have problems with Python 2.6
