Problems using Opera on OS X Snow Leopard

Hi all,

I've been using Unison a while now, but got fed up with it. Finally got around to trying sab and I like it so far!
I'm currently accessing the WebUI from Safari, since I cannot access it from my main browser Opera. I get an "Error! Cannot connect to remote server" when starting sab, or trying to connect to sab from sabnzbdx GUI. Opera version is 10.01 on Snow Leo 10.6.1 and the latest version of sab. I'm trying to connect through both browsers using the same address, so I'm really puzzled as to why it doesn't work in Opera.
I should note that everything works fine from Safari, but as Opera is my main browser I would like to get it to work from there (and to get sabnzbdx GUI to work!).

An unrelated question: Could I control sab on my desktop from a mobile device, say iPhone?

Thank!

http://localhost:8080/sabnzbd/

The same one I'm using in Safari.  :-\

EDIT: I've got it to work using my local IP address instead of localhost, so now it works in Opera. Is it OK if I use my IP address?

Do you happen to use SABnzbdX GUI on your Mac? I still can't get it to work. Using the same Host:Port scheme as in Opera, but it won't start?

Try just localhost in SABnzbdX
Thanks, but it didn't work. I saw the post in SABnzbdX thread and tried using version 1.24 - it works!
Thank you for your help!

One more thing, if you could answer my unrelated question, whether or not I could control SAB on my desktop computer from iPhone or Android powered phone?
