Is the issue reproducible? yes
Just a couple of sleep problems really:
1) I have sleep on queue end but this action doesn't work most of the time - Windows carries on ticking along. I can't figure out what's stopping it from sleeping.
2) When it does sleep, it seems to hibernate instead. That is it goes through the whole BIOS POST resume from disk process instead of the instant-on I'd get if I was to manually sleep. Hibernate has been turned off.
Is there any way of figuring out what's going on?

Re: Multiple Sleep Problems
Have you checked your power management settings in Windows.
We use the documented calls for standby and hibernate
but only Windows knows how these are interpreted.
Do the Windows buttons for standby and hibernate work as expected?
I had quite some trouble telling my Win7 system what to do.
A lot is also determined by what the BIOS supports.

Re: Multiple Sleep Problems
If I use the start menu to sleep then it all works as expected.
Is it possible to trigger the documented calls in isolation? Or see what sabz tried to do (and why it failed)?
