Setting maximum unpack speed

Hello!

Here is another one:

Is it in Sab possible to set a maximum speed for unpacking? I noticed that my media server becomes terribly slow while unpacking. Right now, unpacking a DVD takes about 10 minutes during which my server becomes incredibly unstable and barely usable. But I would rather have the unpacking to take an hour withouth the instability.

Is there a way to control this? Do others have this problem?

Grtz

What OS? Most linux distros can make use of ionice which is supported in SABnzbd.

A later version of SABnzbd will have low priority IO support under windows Vista+Windows 7, which would do what you need.

You can't. As I said, they will likely be in a future version of SABnzbd.

Ah oke, a later version... I misread that. Well I better wait for that one then.

Thanks anyway
