After a system crash (power-out or whatever), already downloaded content will be re-downloaded. I am using newzbin feeds, so the problem is easily fixed if I set the retention time to only a couple of days, but then my saved searches are of less value to me for manual browsing.
Windows XP, using version 0.4.11.

Re: Re-downloading after system crash (RSS-feeds)
If you have crashes or power-loss so frequently, you should worry about that instead.
At least switch to 0.5.0 Beta5, it's a bit better at surviving crashes.
Also use the "no duplicates" option in Config->Switches.

Re: Re-downloading after system crash (RSS-feeds)
I will look into the no-duplicates-option and install the recent version, thanks.
Last time I had a crash, sabnzbd started downloading half a years worth of stuff (probably the last time I restarted the server), so it's not like it happens regularely.
