Latest beta (6) for mac, gone back to icon only in dock? no menubar services?

Hi, I did check to see if this had already been asked but I couldn't see a similar topic so sorry if there is!
I just updated to beta 6 from beta 5 and discovered that my icon is now back in the dock only and not in the menubar with various information/services available. Is this deliberate and is there a way to revert it back to the menubar version? I'm one of these Mac users that already has 6 billion icons in the dock and is now preferring menubar icons. It's a lot more convenient to access that way too.
Hopefully someone can shed some light on this.
